Claire's Trans Talks wins Thurrock Soup

On 18th September 2019, Claire took part in Thurrock Soup, a local “Dragon’s Den” event where local businesses and people with ideas for a business that have a social enterprise aspect to them pitch to the audience. Voters pay £5 for soup and refreshments, and the winner takes the pot at the end of the evening.

The pitches were all great and competition was fierce, but Claire’s Trans Talks won with apparently a landslide vote!

Pictures here are from a few days later, with Claire receiving the customary giant cheque alongside Billy Masters from Thurrock Council’s Business team, and Teresa O’Keeffe from Riverside Community Big Local, both sponsors and organisers of the event.
